Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining or event experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items, wine selections, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately; handle cash handling and sales transactions with integrity
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Support banquet setup, bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly during events
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and address guest requests promptly
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
• Demonstrate knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to elevate the guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in fine dining or banquet settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Experience with cocktail making, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or event areas efficiently
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain required certifications in sanitation and food handling
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs effectively
• Experience working in hospitality environments such as restaurants or nightclubs is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
