Server – Bar & Restaurant

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant bar and restaurant team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring food safety and proper food handling practices are followed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
• Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a memorable dining experience

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and order calculations accurately
• Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or hospitality enhances your candidacy
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume service times
• Kitchen experience or understanding of food preparation processes is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: $17.60-$21.00 per hour
