Server - Bar Experience Required

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments securely
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bar area, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables, setting up stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Build rapport with guests to foster guest relations and ensure repeat visits by providing outstanding customer service in a lively environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a server with bar experience in a fast-paced restaurant or nightclub setting
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
• Extensive cocktail experience along with spirits knowledge to craft quality drinks confidently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy hours
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Previous experience in fine dining or casual restaurant environments is preferred but not required; hospitality background is highly valued

Pay: $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 32.0 per week
