Server/ Bartender

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing offerings to elevate the guest experience
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously through effective time management and prioritization
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including spirits, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest satisfaction

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or bar setting is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or upscale environments
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly
• Strong knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Experience with food safety practices and proper handling of food and beverages
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales upselling opportunities, and accurate order processing
