Server/ Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server/Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails, following established recipes or creating new ones through beverage recipe development.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
• Process cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Engage with guests to provide personalized service, upsell menu items, and promote specials or new offerings to enhance sales.
• Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with bar management duties as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods such as banquets or nightclub events.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service, bartending, or hospitality industry roles with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and beverage recipe development.
• Familiarity with fine dining service standards as well as nightclub or banquet environments.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining quality service.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with an energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction.
• Experience with brewing or craft beer is desirable; hospitality industry experience is essential.

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
