Duties

• Take and serve food and beverage orders with enthusiasm, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and specialty beverages, utilizing your mixology skills.
• Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including processing payments and handling cash safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Engage with guests to provide exceptional customer service, answer questions about menu items, and recommend beverages or dishes based on preferences.
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute ideas for menu enhancements to elevate the guest experience.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts, including supporting food service when needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or catering events.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
• Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development.
• Experience with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices in food service settings.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cashiering, retail math, and handling cash transactions confidently.
• Previous experience working with craft beers, cocktails, spirits, wine pairings, and beverage presentation is highly desirable.
