Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits with precision and flair
• Develop and suggest beverage recipes to enhance guest experience and promote specials
• Manage cash transactions efficiently, process payments accurately, and handle cash handling responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders and coordinate banquet or catering services when needed
• Upsell menu items to increase sales while providing expert recommendations based on guest preferences
• Monitor guest satisfaction continuously, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure an exceptional experience
• Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies, assisting with stock replenishment as necessary

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
• Demonstrated bartending skills including cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, and beverage recipe development
• Fine dining experience or familiarity with upscale service standards is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders seamlessly during busy hours
• Experience with wine knowledge, craft beer selection, brewing processes, or mixology techniques is desirable
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations for sales reporting
