Server /Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring prompt and friendly service.
• Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food delivery times and ensure seamless service flow during busy hours.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Proven experience in bartending with a strong foundation in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine expertise, and cocktail creation.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs professionally.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills; familiarity with retail math is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures, food handling practices, and responsible alcohol service regulations.

Pay: From $5.50 per hour
