Duties

• Greet guests warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency with established recipes and presentation standards.
• Develop new beverage recipes and enhance existing ones to keep our menu fresh and exciting.
• Manage cash transactions precisely while processing payments, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on food pairings, wine selections, and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders during busy service periods such as banquets or catering events.
• Demonstrate excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Assist in training new team members on POS systems, beverage preparation techniques, and customer service protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience as a server or bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong skills in mixology, cocktail creation, wine knowledge, and beverage recipe development.
• Experience working in fine dining settings or with craft beer, spirits, and brewing processes is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail.
• Food safety certification and understanding of proper food handling procedures are required.
• Previous experience with banquet service or catering is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and processing transactions accurately.
