Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Square.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, craft beers, wines, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and safety standards.
• Manage cash transactions efficiently while processing payments accurately and handling cash safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and plating for kitchen operations, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Engage with guests to provide personalized service, upsell menu items, and promote specials to enhance sales.
• Support bar management by restocking supplies, managing inventory levels, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service roles such as server, bartender, or kitchen staff within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems; capable of processing transactions swiftly.
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, craft beers, and beverage trends to enhance guest recommendations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and positively.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking across different responsibilities.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices in a fast-paced environment.
