Server (Breakfast/Lunch ONLY)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. The Server will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the OpenTable system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Adhere to food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Skills

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Proficiency in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is preferred.
• Basic culinary knowledge to assist with menu recommendations and food preparation understanding.
• Experience with cash register operations for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent guest services skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
• Ability to upsell menu items through persuasive communication techniques.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on enhancing the dining experience.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
