Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a positive dining experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
• Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting for guests
• Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and address any guest concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly as a server or bartender in fine dining or casual settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling and processing transactions accurately
• Extensive cocktail mixing skills and familiarity with mixology techniques; ability to create innovative beverages and craft beer experiences
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, beverage recipe development, and food safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus; basic math skills for retail math and cash handling are essential
• Prior experience working with POS systems, food safety standards, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
