Server/ Cashier

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team! Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
• Serve food promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, and credit card payments
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including breakfasts, burgers, and sandwiches, to assist guests with recommendations.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and beverage service.
• Assist with setting up dining areas, cleaning tables, and resetting stations for the next guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Maitre'D
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire; experience with sanitation standards is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with a positive attitude; previous experience in hospitality or food industry roles is beneficial.
