Server / Cashier

About the role

The Server/Cashier is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking and processing orders, handling payments accurately, maintaining cleanliness of the dining area and cashier station, and assisting in the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist customers with the menu and provide information about dishes, promotions, and available items
• Take customer orders accurately and confirm orders before submitting them
• Serve food and beverages promptly and properly
• Check on customers during their meal and respond to reasonable requests
• Operate the POS/cashier system accurately and process cash, card, e-wallet, and other approved payment methods
• Ensure that all orders and payments are properly recorded and issue receipts to customers
• Maintain proper handling and safekeeping of cash and report any cash shortages, overages, voids, discounts, or payment discrepancies to the Supervisor immediately
• Keep tables, chairs, counters, and customer areas clean and organized
• Coordinate closely with the Supervisor, kitchen staff, and other servers
