Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Shift4 Dine.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine knowledge and cocktail recipes, to answer guest questions confidently

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with beverage service including spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink presentation techniques
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly
