Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items by highlighting specials and recommending pairings to increase sales and guest satisfaction
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment in compliance with sanitation regulations and food safety protocols
• Foster positive guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience with OpenTable reservations management is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards
• Prior experience in serving roles within nightclubs or hospitality venues is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills
• Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience can enhance your ability to connect with guests over menu details
