Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system (Chowbus)
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with health regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and delivery for a seamless dining experience
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with food handling procedures and support culinary team when needed to ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including wine, spirits, cocktails, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Good math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
• Hospitality background with a focus on guest relations and service excellence is preferred
