Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring prompt processing of sales transactions
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and beverages with professionalism and flair, maintaining proper drink presentation standards
• Upsell menu items including specialty drinks, desserts, or premium selections to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with sanitation regulations
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant software
• Proven ability in fine dining environments with strong cocktail, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service skills
• Demonstrated culinary experience coupled with food handling expertise in the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Strong sales skills with a focus on upselling and enhancing guest experiences through effective communication
• Background in hospitality or food service roles such as host/hostess or bartender is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food preparation techniques

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
