Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transaction processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, handling food safely, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food preparation or plating as needed in collaboration with kitchen staff
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
• Proven experience in food service roles within fine dining or upscale restaurants
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and team members
• Previous experience with reservation systems such as OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or background in the food industry is highly desirable

Pay: $23.41 - $28.19 per hour
