Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring proper food handling and timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in a food service or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is a strong advantage
• Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs demonstrates adaptability to fast-paced settings
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for cash handling and cashiering tasks
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining excellent guest service
• Strong communication skills with a focus on guest relations, upselling techniques, and team collaboration
