Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to set a positive tone for their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and providing correct change
• Maintain knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to keep the dining area clean and organized

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately
• Familiarity with wine knowledge, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Food industry experience including food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience in serving guests in a fast-paced environment; host/hostess or cashiering background is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
