Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while handling cash register operations with basic math accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude
• Experience with food safety protocols and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Skills in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
