Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales and tips
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting stations, and adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, food handling, and beverage service to support kitchen staff when needed

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and other restaurant technology tools
• Proven experience in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or upscale environments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Familiarity with restaurant operations such as bussing, serving, host/hostess duties, cashiering, and guest services
