Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and hospitality, with a commitment to providing excellent service to our guests. As a Server at Grounded In Charlotte, you will play an essential role in creating memorable dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.

• Present menus, explain specials, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.

• Take and accurately process food and drink orders using our Point of Sale (POS) system.

• Serve food and beverages in a professional manner, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.

• Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high food quality.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.

• Upsell additional menu items, promotions, and special events to enhance the guest experience.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings, with a willingness to learn.

• Cash handling experience and familiarity with POS systems.

• Basic math skills for handling payments

• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Food Service Handler Certificate
