Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service skills
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash or credit payments accurately
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting, preferably with fine dining exposure
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability in upselling and sales to maximize revenue opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
• Experience with guest services roles such as host/hostess or bussing is a plus
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining a friendly attitude
