Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance guest satisfaction
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing needs promptly, resolving concerns professionally, and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements during busy hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with cashiering and cash handling preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to build guest rapport
• Ability to multitask effectively through strong time management and organizational skills during high-volume periods
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and safety standards
• Knowledge of food industry regulations related to sanitation, food handling, and safety protocols
• Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, cash handling, and transaction processing
