About the role

The Server / Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests. The role includes welcoming customers, suggesting menu items, taking and punching orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting customers with their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with seating and provide menus.
• Be knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu, products, and promotions.
• Suggest and recommend food and beverage orders, including dimsums, buns, noodles, and other specialties.
• Accurately take and confirm customer orders.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served on time.
• Check orders before serving to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Regularly check on customers and assist with additional requests.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints politely and report major concerns to the supervisor or manager.

About you

• Experience as a Server, Waiter/Waitress, or Restaurant Staff is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional.
• Can work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Honest, responsible, hardworking, and customer-oriented.
• Willing to undergo training in Quezon City.
• Willing to work in Poblacion, Makati upon the opening of the new branch.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays when required.

About us

BaoBao Roast and Dimsum is a Chinese restaurant specializing in delicious dimsums, freshly made buns, noodles, and other Chinese-inspired dishes. Our new branch will be located in Poblacion, Makati and is expected to open by September. Successful applicants will undergo training at our Quezon City branch while waiting for the opening of the new Makati branch.
