Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently

Requirements

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation standards in the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and confidently perform basic math calculations
• Experience with food handling, food preparation, and kitchen operations is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $23.30-$25.00 per hour
