Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Skytab or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit card payments with precision
• Recommend menu items, including wine and spirits, to enhance guest satisfaction through upselling techniques
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth operations

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Skytab and other restaurant management software
• Strong knowledge of food industry standards, food safety protocols, and sanitation practices
• Proven ability in fine dining or casual restaurant environments with excellent guest relations skills
• Culinary experience complemented by beverage expertise in cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink service
• Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Effective sales techniques such as upselling to increase revenue while enhancing guest experiences
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales quickly under pressure
• Previous experience in hospitality roles such as serving, bartending, hosting or food handling is highly valued
