Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and drink options with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Process sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest experiences.
• Maintain knowledge of our wine list, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food menu to make personalized recommendations.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling, serving, and cleaning duties.
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Build strong guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for sales processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine varieties, and cocktail preparation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to boost sales while enhancing guest satisfaction.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
