Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring presentation standards are met
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy
• Upsell menu items such as specialty drinks or desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing multiple tables during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience in restaurants or fine dining environments is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, and spirits experience
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and guest relations focus
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
