Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide expert recommendations to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow during busy hours

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience with a focus on guest service excellence
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is desirable but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine guest interactions
