Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food, cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with professionalism and flair
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold health standards
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving any concerns with a positive attitude

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
• Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits knowledge, wine service, and beverage presentation is a plus
• Familiarity with fine dining or nightclub settings enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relationship building
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
