Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing correct change
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and food safety protocols
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a solid understanding of the food industry
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
• Effective communication skills to interact seamlessly with guests and team members
• Experience in food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is a plus for understanding workflow dynamics
• Familiarity with restaurant operations including guest services, upselling techniques, and hospitality standards

Pay: $17.60-$23.60 per hour
