Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such asToast POS
• Process sales transactions smoothly, including cash handling and credit card payments
• Recommend menu items, upsell specials, and suggest wine or spirits to enhance the guest experience
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage multiple tables efficiently with excellent time management skills during busy hours
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure seamless service flow
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tables, and service stations according to sanitation guidelines
• Use OpenTable for reservations management and coordinate guest seating for optimal flow
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations and address any concerns promptly

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is a plus
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
• Culinary or food industry experience that demonstrates an understanding of food handling and safety protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
