Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring proper presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions accurately while managing cash handling and credit card payments with POS systems
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine selection, spirits, and drink presentation
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
