Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items, enhancing the guest experience and increasing sales.
• Ensure food safety standards are followed during food preparation, serving, and handling processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly.
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management, ensuring all guests receive attentive service.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Uphold excellent guest services by actively listening to guest feedback and resolving issues with professionalism.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant serving roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is a plus.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for processing bills and payments accurately.
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations can be advantageous for supporting team efforts.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• A background in culinary or restaurant environments demonstrates a solid understanding of service standards.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude that fosters memorable dining experiences.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
