Reports To: Dining Room Manager / Food & Beverage Manager

Position Summary

The Server is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to club members and guests in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner. This position helps create a welcoming dining experience by delivering outstanding hospitality, maintaining club service standards, and ensuring member satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly and courteously.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations regarding food and beverage selections.
• Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Serve food and beverages according to club service standards.
• Monitor tables and anticipate member needs throughout the dining experience.
• Refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Process member charges and ensure accurate billing.
• Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and support staff to provide seamless service.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down dining rooms, banquet spaces, and special events.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and club events.
• Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Address member concerns professionally and notify management of any issues requiring attention.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred; country club, fine dining, or upscale restaurant experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent service standards.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
