Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively hospitality environment where teamwork, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are paramount. Prior food service or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for hospitality and food industry standards.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during service
• Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support seamless operations
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
• Address guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including setting tables, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and basic math skills for cashiering and billing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
• Experience in food industry roles including serving, food preparation, or hospitality is preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
