Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure a positive dining atmosphere
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Foster guest relations by providing excellent customer service, ensuring guest comfort, and addressing feedback

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation is a plus for understanding menu items and food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper kitchen procedures
• Experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is advantageous for managing guest seating effectively
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with guests
