Duties

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a smooth start to their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash and credit payments accurately
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and food handling
• Provide expert wine knowledge and recommend pairings to elevate the dining experience
• Support food preparation and kitchen staff when needed, demonstrating teamwork in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
• Food safety certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire
• Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding liquor laws is preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
