Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team! Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the menu options with enthusiasm and detailed descriptions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments securely, and manage tabs using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms.
• Assist with food handling, bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting the team during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain excellent guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of POS system such as Toast; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and strong guest relations abilities.
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
• Previous serving experience required
• Friendly, professional, and confident with guests
• Reliable and committed to their scheduled shifts
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Wine knowledge/experience is a plus
• Coffee/barista experience is a plus
• Someone who takes pride in providing excellent service and creating a great guest experience

Pay: $24.33 - $29.30 per hour
