Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square.
• Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements during busy hours.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable reservation management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume service periods.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding menu items and food preparation processes.
