Server — Bad Bambino Charleston, SC · Full-Time & Part-Time

Bad Bambino is a new neighborhood restaurant. We are casual but fine dining, with food, wine, and service that are polished and precise, and a personality that's warm, relaxed, and welcoming. We're hiring servers to join us for opening.

What we're looking for

We want people who genuinely love food and beverage, love the job, work hard, and have fun while still taking the work seriously. You're personable, you work well with a team, you take direction well, and you're the kind of server who learns regulars' names and builds real relationships with guests.

What you'll do

• Deliver our standard of Radical Hospitality. Every guest, every night, treated the same, no matter what they order or when they walk in the door.
• Learn our full food and wine program well enough to describe any dish or pour with confidence, and make real recommendations
• Run a complete, polished experience from greeting to farewell . Accurate orders, proper wine and table service, and attentive, anticipatory care throughout the meal
• Work as part of a team that helps each other. This means running food, clearing tables, and covering for one another, not just working your own section
• Keep clean hands, timely refills, and cleared plates and glassware without being asked

Training

New servers complete a paid, structured 3-day training program before working independently, covering our culture and standards, full menu and wine knowledge, and hands-on practice with every step of service.

Requirements

• Previous serving experience preferred
• Must be able to obtain a South Carolina alcohol server certification, required for anyone serving beer or wine
• Reliable, on time, and ready to work as a team
• Evening and holiday availability, including weekends

Compensation

Minimum tipped hourly wage plus tips. Details discussed at interview.

Bad Bambino does not take reservations, so every shift moves. If you like a fast-paced room and guests who come back because they feel like family, we'd love to meet you.

Pay: $23.58 - $28.40 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
