Duties

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals, including cash handling and basic math calculations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with upselling techniques and sales-driven mindset to maximize revenue opportunities
