Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using Toast POS ensuring all special requests are noted clearly
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Process cash and card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food handling and food preparation responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems is a plus
• Demonstrated ability in customer service, guest relations, and hospitality with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service techniques
• Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
