Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales records
• Upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverage options to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen coordination when needed to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns professionally
• Support bar service with drink mixing, spirits knowledge, and cocktail presentation during busy hours
• Handle food handling procedures responsibly to ensure safety and quality standards are met

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing
• Strong knowledge of wine types, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that creates a welcoming environment
• Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred for better menu understanding
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash transactions
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices in food handling environments
• Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus for adapting to diverse guest needs
• Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with kitchen staff and team members
