Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the Toast POS System, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards throughout the service process.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing knowledge of fine dining practices.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, ensuring timely refills on drinks and addressing any concerns or requests.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area by bussing tables, resetting them for new guests, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Experience with POS Systems
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts.
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a friendly approach.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in the food industry.
