Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu, highlighting specials and upselling opportunities to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct processing of sales transactions
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Provide expert knowledge on wine, spirits, cocktails, and food pairings to assist guests in making informed choices
• Process cash and credit card payments accurately while handling cash transactions with integrity and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations throughout service
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly for maximum satisfaction

Skills

• Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
• Strong culinary knowledge paired with beverage expertise in spirits, wine, cocktails, and drink service
• Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while providing excellent customer service
• Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Solid understanding of food handling safety procedures, sanitation standards, and food industry regulations
• Excellent communication skills for guest relations, team collaboration, and conflict resolution
• Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or nightlife settings preferred; nightclub experience is a plus
