Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert knowledge of our menu and beverage offerings, and a lively, welcoming attitude. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Engage with guests to foster positive relationships, address concerns promptly, and suggest popular menu items.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with Deli or diner experience
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing sales accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and calculating bills accurately
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in accordance with food industry regulations
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexibility to work weekends, no evenings and extra assistance on Jewish holidays.
